Ryan is 3!

I can't believe that it has been 3 years since I had Ryan, time has just flown by. He is such an incredible son. He is so loving and sweet but at the same time tough. He makes me laugh everyday and I feel so blessed that he is apart of our family. I love being a Mom and the joy I feel when he accomplishes something. He has grown so much and is such an incredible brother. He loves Megan and Christian so much and will share anything he has with them. He is all boy all the time and is a total Daddy's boy! I love him more than words and posting these pictures of him has brought back so many memories. Happy Birthday Ryan!

She is moving...

Just not how she should be. Megan refuses to crawl and absolutely hates to be on her tummy. About every other day I make her be on her tummy for at least 20 minutes and it is total torture for both of us. She rolls over to her back and then I put her back on her tummy at least 10 times and she just screams the whole time. Ryan didn't crawl until he was 12 1/2 months and then he was walking 2 weeks after that so it isn't a big surprise that she isn't crawling. It is just that Ryan never moved he loved to just sit and play but Megan has learned to get around. She gets from room to room on her bum and she can turn 360 degree's on her bum. It takes her a long time to get from place to place but at least she is moving, right? We hope you enjoy the video because we think it is hilarious.

History of Riverside

Christian had to do a report and display board on the history of Riverside. He had to pick a location at least 80 years old and visit it. He chose Benedict Castle and loved visiting it and doing his project. He did a really great job and ended up getting 2nd place on his display board.

Easter Fun

We had a really amazing Easter filled with lots of fun. The kids got to have 3 Easter egg hunts, 1 community, 1 church and 1 with the family. We dyed Easter eggs and got to meet the Easter bunny. Also our Easter baskets were over flowing with goodies. We were definitely spoiled this Easter season and our so grateful to have a time to celebrate the Resurrection of our Savior.

1700's

On the drive home from the movie I was asking the kids what they liked and didn't like about it and we ended up having this really funny conversation. Brittany brought up a movie they should during the school day of the movie that was obviously made in the 80's. She was talking about this cell phone and saying how funny it would be to carry it around. She said to Christian "could you imagine putting it in your pocket and accidentally sitting on it, that would totally hurt." Then Christian says "and Brittany what was up with those clothes it was totally from the Seventeen hundreds." I was laughing so hard I started to cry. I didn't realize that stonewashed jeans, tye dyed shirts and jean jackets seemed so old to him. I then told him that it was actually fashion from the 1980's he then said "same thing."

Movies

Christian is obsessed with the books Diary of the Wimpy kid. The last two books that he got he read in two days. He also got his cousin to read the books as well. So when we heard they were making a movie I knew I wanted to take the kids to see it. So I took Christian, Ryan, my niece Brittany and my nephew Andrew. It was Ryan's first time in a movie theater and he did a really good job. At the end of the movie during the credits he got up and ran down the stairs and started dancing to the music, everyone was totally laughing. It was a really cute movie and we all had a great time.

Mini Golf

We went miniature golfing for family night a couple of weeks ago and had such a blast. The boys did really well taking turns and Megan just loved being outside. It was a really warm night so it was nice to be outside. It was a great night.
