Disneyland

Last week our very best friend's the Patten's were in town. They were going to Disneyland on Monday so we took Christian out of school and Dan took the day off so we bought Dan a pass and spent all day there. It was such a wonderful day. The kids all did amazing and we did things that we usually don't do. We got to ride the big kid rides since we could parent swap and their 15 year old nephew took the day off and he was so helpful. He took Christian and Noah (who is eleven) all morning long and they did all the big rides while we took the little kids on the rides they definitely didn't want to do. We ate in the park and let the kids buy souvenirs which we never do. Dan also made a double light saber which he has been wanting to do for a while. It was perfect weather and not to crowded. The last time we all hung out together we had three kids between us and now we have seven so it was so fun. The Patten's are the ones that introduced Dan and I so we love them so much and wish we lived closer to them. Ryan loved having Dan at Disneyland with us and wanted to ride every ride with him. He is definitely a Daddy's boy!Megan did so great, she took her naps and ate and was just completely happy all day!We saw the Fairies and the Princesses again something we don't ever do since the lines are usually way to long. Ryan loved them so much and just felt so comfortable with them. Megan was terrified so maybe we will have to do it more often so she will get over her fear!Ryan got a knight sword in the Princess store and had so much fun fighting everyone. One cast member was really nice to play with him., they stood there fighting each other for like 15 minutes while the rest of us finished shopping. We ended the night with the parade and the boys got picked to join in the fun. Christian was a little embarrassed at first but he ended up having a lot of fun with it.Thank you Patten's for such a wonderful day!

Our House

Here is our new house I was going to put these pictures up in December but then I completely forgot until Dan's family asked the other day so here they are. We love our house and our neighborhood, the only down side is Dan now commutes. Before he only drove 15 minutes on side streets and now it is 40 minutes with out traffic so most days it is closer to an hour. But we are so thankful for a bigger, newer house. Lastly, I just want to say how grateful I am for my husband who was willing to sell our house and buy a house that we could live in with my parent's so that I can help my Dad everyday. Our Bedroom

Valentine's Day

We had a wonderful valentine's day this year. We decided to draw names and make valentine's cards for each other and then buy each other small gifts. It was really fun and the kids loved being creative. We had a delicious dinner with my family and loved just being together.

9 Months Old

On February 5th Megan turned 9 months old! Her check up went really well. She is 17.8 lbs and 26.25 inches tall. She is scooting backwards and loves to stand with assistance. She doesn't want to crawl but gets so upset that she can't just get up and run after everyone, so I would assume it will not be long before she is running after her brothers. She has one tooth and loves to eat as long as she feeds herself. She is vocal but only when it is quiet, she doesn't like to talk if anyone else is talking so once things go silent then she starts to yell. I totally love it, it is her way of announcing she is here.

Basketball

Christian started basketball last month with a city league and has totally loved playing. The games are on weeknights so it has been hard for Dan to attend all of them but we are still having a great time. His team has won 3 of their 6 games so hopefully they can win their last couple of games and end the season with a winning record! One of Christian's shots got stuck in the rim and it thought it was the coolest thing!
