Ryan turns two
So this is a couple days late but Wednesday was Ryan's second birthday. We had a really nice low key party at our house on Saturday for him. The theme was sports so he loved all the balls. He loved all his gifts but not the unwrapping part. He just wanted all the toys opened so that he could play. We played a pin the medal on the champion game and then had a pinata. After the pinata was knocked down by Sydney Ryan found one sucker and then was done with the candy. It was cute how he didn't get the concept of get as much as you can. Also, the older kids put on a dance show for Ryan which was really cute, I wish I would have gotten a video of it because it was so funny. Then on Wednesday we had cub scouts so we didn't have anything big planned but he loved that his cousins called him and sang Happy Birthday to him. By the third set of cousins that called to sing he started to sing along which was hilarious. I can't believe that he is two and he is so full of life. I love that he enjoys playing and watching sports with his Dad and Brother and that he has started to give real hugs and kisses. At his check up he weighed in at 27 pounds and is 33 inches tall, which puts him in the 20th percentile. So he is still a little on the small size but that is ok with us.

Spring Break
We must have had an amazing week since I was completely exhausted at the end of every day. We had something going on each day which made the time just fly by.
This is when the kite had flown away!I didn't get any pictures but we also had Cub Scouts, went to Chuck E Cheese and I helped my Parent's start packing. It really was a busy week and things don't look like they are going to slow down this week. We have Ryan's Birthday, Cub Scout Pack Meeting and I go back to work, but the silver lining is that I only have two weeks left until my Maternity Leave starts Oh wait maybe that is not the silver lining because that means Megan will be here before we know it.
One day we went down the beach, Dan was able to take the day off which made it so much more fun. We met the Garces Family down at their campsite and spent most of the day just playing with them. Of course it was the coldest day of the week but Christian and Nico still braved the cold water and had a blast. Ryan also tried the water but only after he was fully dressed in his sweats and sweatshirt.
While the boys played in the water the rest of us looked like this all bundled up!Sophie had a motorized little bike that Ryan just loved and at the end of the night he was taking Sophie for a ride, it was so cute. We are definitely thinking of getting him one for his birthday! A couple of days we spent at the park with different friends. On Wednesday it was a really windy day so we took the kite and had fun flying it until Christian let it go. Dan also taught Ryan how to use a baseball glove which he totally loves.

Fun Weekend Part 2
On Saturday I spent most of the morning and early afternoon looking at houses for my parents. They sold their house and their escrow closes at the end of the month and they still have not found what they are looking for so we have been spending every free moment looking at houses. Then Saturday night my family all got together to dye Easter eggs, to have an Easter egg hunt and of course the Easter bunny brought baskets for everyone. We had such a great time. Ryan still didn't understand the concept of collecting eggs he would find one and then throw it like a ball. So he didn't end up with that many but Christian sure did. Then on Sunday we went to church and then spent the afternoon with my family eating and playing games. It was such a great weekend.
Christian made a Volcano at Cub Scouts and was so excited to show everyone how it works.
I love this picture of the boys from Sunday morning it just shows how much they love each other.
