Warm Weather

The weather has been so great here lately the boys enjoyed a fun weekend playing outside in the water. They did water balloons, water guns and ran in the sprinklers. It was so fun! (Please excuse Ryan's outfit we haven't bought him a new swim suit and his shorts would not stay up)

Baby Update

My C-Section is scheduled for May 14th so I have exactly 7 weeks left. Things have been going really well except that I am exhausted all the time and I am sick again. The boys both got sick last week and then I got it over the weekend so I am coughing and really congested which makes me throw up. Not fun at all! I went and registered at Babies R Us which was really fun and I decided on spring colors for her room. Purple, green, yellow and tan. I am carrying her really low so my hips have really been hurting lately and when I sit my bellybutton pops out. Which Dan thinks is so gross but when I stand up it goes flat again. We are planning on moving Ryan into Christian's room in a week or so to give me time to clean and fix up the Nursery. Even though I feel like I have been sick for so long and can't wait for it to be over I really can't believe that we will be meeting our little girl in just under two months!
I went through some old photos I had on my work computer and thought these were so funny, they are from 2004 before Dan and I got married!

St. Patrick's Day

Since this is one of Dan's favorite holidays I try to make it special for him. This year we decided to celebrate on Sunday we my family. We got together and had Roast and Potato's and then lots of green goodies. We had a really great time. Today for school Christian's class had a competition on who could wear the most green. He made sure that everything he had on was green. It was so fun to see him pick everything out even if it didn't match. He didn't win but still had a great time. Once again I was glad I put some effort into this holiday because we had such a fun time celebrating it.

The kids and Dan set up this cool Geo Trax set, they had a great time playing it all night!

What was he thinking.....

So for the last couple of weeks Dan has been coming home from work with "FREE" stuff. The first he told me about was that a friend from work was getting rid of some baseball cards and offered them to us for the boys. I thought that was really neat since Christian really likes them. That was until Dan started unloading his car with 20 boxes full of baseball cards. Now it is not normal baseball card boxes these are huge boxes with 5 rows in each box full of cards. I couldn't believe it. Then about a week later he tells me that he saw a toddler race car bed and thought Ryan would love it. Now remember Ryan already has a firetruck bed why on earth would he need another bed. Lastly, on Friday night we were over at a friend's house and he saw a sign on their neighbors yard that they were giving away their basketball hoop. That is where I drew the line and told him no way, he tried to argue but finally agreed with me. We already have so much stuff he was not bringing home one more thing.
This is a picture of most of the boxes he brought home!

Dan has been going through the boxes to see what cards are in there and below is a picture of only HALF of the cards in one box. There are so many cards it is unbelievable.

I didn't have a picture of the bed but this is what it looks like.

Seriously I am due in about 8 weeks and we are going to have to start setting up all the stuff that goes with having a new baby and he thinks it is ok to bring home stuff like this and really what toddler needs an option of two different beds!

Medieval Tournament

One of Dan's Co-workers participates in this Medieval Society and this past weekend they were having their big fighting tournament to crown the new King. Dan thought the boys would enjoy it so we went up. It was a beautiful day and it was held at a park, so we took a picnic and kind of made a day of it. Well Dan was right the boys did love it and Ryan wanted to run into the ring and start fighting. We bought the boys some swords which they loved and had a great time fighting each other. Everyone there was dressed up and tried to make everything look "authentic" to that period in time. I was surprised that I actually did enjoy may self. I probably would not go again but it still was a fun experience.

My Husband

This is long over due but I just wanted to write down what my husband did for Valentine's day. I told him that I didn't want him to spend any money on me and that I wanted a letter from him, not just a card with two sentences. Well this is what I got, A two page typed letter of him telling me of the best two days together. The first our wedding day and how he felt from start to finish and the second was the day Ryan was born. It is a beautiful letter and to tell you the truth I didn't think he had it in him. Then he gave me a rose that he had made out of Legos. It was the perfect gift and maybe my favorite Valentine's day yet.

Then for Christmas he gave me tickets to see Reba who is my favorite artist and I have seen her in concert four times before last night but last night was one of my favorites. It was really fun and so great to get out and just be together. We went to dinner at Cheesecake Factory which is my favorite place and it was so nice to be able to sit at dinner for an hour and half and not have children interrupting us and then we went to the concert. It was a wonderful night. Thanks to my parent's for watching Ryan so we could enjoy the night. Dan I love you and am so thankful for everything you do for me and our family!
This is a picture of us from last night, as you can see I am definitely pregnant and feeling it. Two months to go!
Oh and I just had to add these pictures of Ryan from today at church he just looked to cute to not share!
