Anniversary

Today Dan and I celebrate 3 yrs of marriage. It is crazy how quickly time has gone by. I absolutely loved my wedding day and it still is the best day of my life, giving birth is a close second, but I think it was the best day because both sides of our family (other than one of Dan's sisters and her kids) were all together. I don't know if or when this would ever happen again. It was a beautiful day and we just had a really great time. We are so lucky that our families were so supportive of us. These past three years have been such a learning experience for me. Things have not been at all like I expected marriage to be, it is truly like a roller coaster, but the highs are so much more than I expected as well. I am thankful for a Heavenly Father who inspired my Bishop to tell me not to go on a Mission so that I could meet Dan. I have known Dan for 5 1/2 years now and I am so in love with him it is incredible. I couldn't imagine my life without him, he is a wonderful father and is just the best kind of person. I love you babe!

Here are some of my favorite photos from our wedding:

Our Parents

Since our wedding Daniel's family has added three boys to the family and my family has added three boys and two girls. WOW three years have changed us alot!

I loved our cake and the chocolate fountain, Dan loved the pasta bar which we later found out was against the rules because of the open flame but ignorance is bliss right.

Our Wedding was so much fun we were so grateful for our friends and family being there to celebrate with us.

My two favorite photos of the day!

Sad Day

Well it is a very sad day because I just found out that I can't register for the Disney 5k because it is full. The last time I checked they were only 50% full so I didn't think it would fill up that quickly I mean it is still 6 weeks away. Well talking to Laura and Kalli yesterday at church Kalli mentioned that it was 90% full last time she checked so this morning I went online to register and sure enough it is full. I am very sad that I will not be running but next year I will definitely not procrastinate. So if anyone is interested in doing another race let me know. Maybe I will just come and cheer everyone else on.

Red Sox vs Angels

Well every year when the Red Sox play the Angels Dan and I will go to at least one game of the series. So last night he and I went and it was such an incredible game. My mom watched Ryan so Dan and I could have a date night and we just had an incredible time. The best part of the night was that the Angels won and so hopefully they can win at least one more of the next two so that the Angel side of our blanket can be showing because right now it is on Boston side since they won the championship.

The Final Score was...

At the last game we went to with my Brother he introduced us to this amazing deal you get this huge hot dog, corn and a bag of chips for $9 which is such a great deal but it is only sold at one location in the stadiumOur seats were not great but they were free so we were not complaining. We were in the right field pavilion so I got to stare at Guerrero and Drew's back side all night. NOT TO BAD!! :)No matter where we sit we always seem to be surrounded by Red Sox fans and last night was no exception at the beginning of the game they were all giving me a bad time and they kept saying they didn't understand how Dan and I could be married routing for opposite teams (Dan told them at least I wasn't a Yankee Fan) But by the end of the game they all quieted down!

Youkilis and Hunter are our favorite players and they both had great games. The best part was when Ramirez came up and hit a home run and everyone said it was the Red Sox comeback but then Anderson came up and hit a home run and then we just kept scoring and the Red Sox didn't, so much for the comeback.

This was us at the end of the game. Thanks again Mom for watching Ryan for us!

One of the Boston Fans was wearing this shirt and now Dan wants it. It says Decade of Dominance and it shows all the championship trophy's Boston has taken in the last ten years, it was really cool so Erin if you see this shirt could you pick it up for Dan in an XL cause I can't find it online anywhere.

Great Deal

I am taking Sara's lead and sharing this really great deal with everyone, sure it's not free like all deals Sara shares but it is still really great...

On Wednesday, July 30, Cheesecake Factory restaurants nationwide will offer every delicious slice of our more than 30 varieties of cheesecake for $1.50 per slice - just like we did when we opened our first restaurant back in 1978! It's no coincidence that Wednesday, July 30, also happens to be National Cheesecake Day. After all, what better time to enjoy the cheesecake you absolutely love! As you know, sharing is part of the fun at The Cheesecake Factory so feel free to share the news about this special offer with your friends. So, come celebrate with us on National Cheesecake Day!
The Best part is that July 30th is my anniversary so Dan can't say No to going out to dinner!

Concert

On Tuesday Night Dan and I went with Nick and Rachel to the Coldplay concert. I really like Coldplay so I had a great time. They only played for about an hour and twenty minutes which was not at all long enough for the amount they charge for tickets but it was still really fun. Toward the end of their set they did something I have never seen before, they ran off the stage into the audience and then went into the upper seats, I am talking the nose bleed section, and they had a little stage set up with the four mics and they played Yellow acoustically. It was so incredible they had maybe four security guards around them but really the audience was right next to them. Another thing that was really funny was Chris Martin forgot the words to two or three songs, so he had to stop playing run over to some computer screen to read the lyrics and then he came back and started playing. He of course apologized profusely but it was so funny. At one point he said that we all deserved a little refund because he messed up so many times. It was a lot of fun and a great night out for Dan and I since we have not had much alone time with all our house guest lately.

When Family is in town.......

We always jam pack everyday with so much fun! These last two weeks have been amazing. I have had such a great time with my family. We have done so much it is hard to list everything but I am going to try, more for journaling purposes then anything else. It started with us all taking the kids to John's Incredible Pizza again which was a major hit with everyone. Then I told you about our 4th in the post below. Saturday the men all went golfing in the morning and then we did family pictures and had my Nieces baptism. Her baptism was so special and I hope it will be a day she remembers forever. Sunday was my Nephews birthday party. It was a pirate theme and the kids got to dig for treasure and decorate swords. It was a lot of fun. Then on Monday we went to Legoland. Unfortunately Dan had to work but we still managed to have a good time. They have opened a whole new area since we went last year so it was really great. The kids all did great and we had a wonderful time. It was really sad saying goodbye to my Brother on Tuesday of last week since we don't have another trip planned yet so I am not sure when we will see him again. Then on Wednesday my parents, Kenna, Leah and I were able to go to the temple. Thank you Richard and Daniel for watching the kids to make that possible. We went to dinner at CPK before hand and it was such an incredible evening. It was the perfect balance of fun and spirituality it was probably one of my favorite days of the trip. Thursday and Friday we just kind of all hung out and Friday night we saw the movie Over the Hedge at a Park in Placentia which was really neat. On Saturday we went to the beach. Ryan had the best time. He was so great in the water, he would fall over with the waves and then just continue to crawl through the waves like it was no big deal. He didn't cry once the whole three hours we were there. I hope that he will always be like that and enjoy the water as much as I do. On Sunday the trip took a turn for the worst with Spencer getting sick and we almost had to cancel our plans for Monday but Spencer told us he would be fine with the Babysitters so on Monday we went to Glen Ivy Day Spa. It was amazing. I have never been before and I can't wait to go again. Every penny was well spent and we have decided that it is a new tradition since the men always go play golf for 4 to 5 hours we should get to go to the spa every trip. It was both of my sisters, my two sister in laws, my mom and I that went. We had such a great time but I did learn a few things, like don't get a pedicure in the middle of the day because the polish will get messed up before you even make it home and don't have two spa services done in one day because then you don't have much time for relaxing in the pool. Then yesterday Trent and Ryan got the bug Spencer had and starting throwing up and then Kenna got it. So her plane ride home last night was miserable with her and Trent throwing up but hopefully the rest of the trip was fun enough to make up for the couple of bad days and the awful plane ride. I don't know what it is about Cris and Kenna but every time we are with them whether it is for 3 days or two weeks it never seems like enough. We always have such a great time and I would really like to go visit them again before the end of the year but I am not sure if that is going to happen. Sorry for so many pictures but it was a great couple of weeks and thanks Leah and Jess for the pictures because I was a total slacker at bringing my camera everywhere.

Lined up on the street for the fireworks. Our family photo, Christian refused to smile!Charles' Pirate themed partyLegoland was really great and not very crowded which was a definite plus.Unfortunately there is not much for Ryan to do at Legoland but luckily, he had a good time sitting in the stroller with Nathan and watching the kids on the rides.Ryan's first real experience at the beach you can see how he just loved it! Christian did really well in the water this time, I think the rash guard helped him not be so cold but he still preferred to dig with his cousins then go out in the water with Dan and I.

4th of July Fun

Well I think this was my favorite 4th of July. It started with our 5k run which turned out incredible. I wanted to finish in under 45 minutes that did happen because I decided that speed was not as important as running the entire 3 miles. So I ran the whole race and finished at 49:40. I was so happy I actually cried at the finish line. Dan and my brother in law ran the 10k in 1:02:52 it was unbelievable especially since Dan had not trained at all. He is definitely a natural runner. So now I have to train to run faster for the whole 3 miles because at the end of August when I do the Disney run I have to finish in under 45 minutes to get the medal. After our race we went to a near by park had breakfast and then let the kids run a mini race. They were so cute and excited and at the end they all got medals. We then came home took showers, napped and then had everyone over to our house for a BBQ and fireworks. It was such a great day. I am so glad that Kenna talked us all into running it together it was really fun and I think she just started a new tradition for the family.

This was at the end of the race, you can see that I was totally dying but it was worth it!This is Kenna and I at the end of the race

The kids had such a good time running in their race

Christian loved his medal

House Guest

I am so excited because my Sister in Law Kenna and her three kids come into town today and they are staying with us for two weeks. My brother is coming also but only for this weekend. We have so many fun things planned, like Legoland, the Beach, and a girls day at the Spa. We always have such a great time with them and unfortunately hardly ever sleep but it is always worth it. I am so blessed by my Heavenly Father to have a Husband that is willing to work extra so that I can take time off to be with my family, I only have to work three days the next two weeks which I am so excited about. I hope everyone has a great 4th of July!
