Back to School
Christian is now a third grader it is so crazy, it seems like just yesterday he was starting Kindergarten. He was really nervous but once he went into the school and saw some of his friends he was fine and was happy to be back in school. Also it was really nice Dan had the day off so he could be apart of it.
John's Incredible Pizza
Last week went to Lunch with the Moran's to celebrate the last week of summer at John's Incredible Pizza. It was not crowded at all which made it really nice we ended up spending over three hours there. Also it was nice to be out of the over 100 degree weather we have been having. With his tickets Christian got this really gross sticky eye!

Babysitting
Unfortunately my Brother in law lost his Father and Grandmother 2 1/2 weeks apart this past month so I have had my Sister Leah's 4 kids a lot this month. This past weekend they went to Utah for his Grandmother's funeral with out the kids and after his Father's passing I had the kids a lot so that they could help get everything ready. Also, I watched my Sister Anna's Dog for a weekend so August was a month full of Babysitting which should explain why I haven't blogged a whole lot this month. The kids totally loved having all the extra company but I have to say that I am so looking forward to this week with Christian returning to school and life getting back to a normal routine.
Although it was totally crazy we still had a great time! I have been so grateful that I have been home to be able to help my family out when they needed me.They played hide and seek alot and this was how I found Christian one day.Ryan was trying to hide in this picture!Ryan loved the Dog so much it almost made me want to get him a puppy, that is until it pooped on my carpet. The Garces' gave us a mattress they weren't using any longer so we let the kids do some mattress surfing!

Football
Christian decided that he was ready for Tackle football this year instead of Flag and so we signed him up. He is playing for the Ontario Outlaws and is loving it. For the month of August he practices 5 days a week for 2 hours. After the first week of conditioning he received his pads and officially made the team. He is absolutely loving it and loves to tackle and be tackled. It has totally taken over our lives and we can't wait for games to start. The coach said that he was going to get Ryan a baby helmet so he could be on the field because he is always trying to sneak on and he does all the exercises from the sidelines. Dan and I have loved watching Christian get into the game and we just sit in awe sometimes because he is so grown up.
We didn't get his practice jersey until the end of the first week so he wore his Patriots one and joked about one day being on their team. Here he is ready for his tackling drillHe already has the attitude down :)

Things I love right now
Football conditioning starting to keep Christian entertained and active 5 days a week!
Having a Girl! With the pretty bows, shoes and bracelets!
The amazing athlete that is Ryan, he can play almost any sport better than kids twice his age!
And the thing I love the most is this man,for allowing me to stay home with the kids and get a flip flop tan, which I think is a true badge of an amazing fun filled summer!
