New Toys

We bought these boxing gloves at a garage sale for $5 dollars. The kids absolutely love them and they get a lot of aggression out as well. I definitely think we need a punching bag now so that they don't end up hurting each other. Best $5 dollars spent!

Date Night

Dan and I had a really fun date night. We went out with my Sister and her husband. We ate at a restaurant where there wasn't a kid in the whole place. We did some shopping at Borders and Best Buy. Then we saw the Bounty Hunter, which was a really funny movie and ended way different than I expected. It was a wonderful much needed night out. Thanks Mom for watching all the kids.

Jog-A-Thon

Christian had a Jog-A-Thon at school for a fundraiser and it was so much fun. He got a lot of donations and was so excited to run. They gave the third graders 6 minutes to run and he did 8 laps which was just under a mile. Each time they went around the track they had to stop to get a tally on their back otherwise I am sure he could have run more laps but I was so impressed he didn't walk once. At the end of the race the kids got water bottles and snow cones. I volunteered so I was there all morning long and it was so fun to be there to cheer him on. He finished in second place in his class but he had raised the most money. He was so thankful to all our family that donated it definitely made him work harder. St. Patrick's Day

We love St. Patrick's Day in our house and had so much fun celebrating. This year I made homemade bread and dyed it green for Christian's lunch at school and then used the left over dough and we made green pizza for dinner. This year was really funny because Ryan has learned every one's full names, so he knows that his name is Ryan Patrick Burke and Daniel is also Patrick Burke. So in the morning when everyone was telling him Happy St. Patrick's Day he would respond, "No, Daddy Patrick Day". It was so cute. My Sister and Brother's family joined us for the fun and we made a cute clover craft and then had dinner of everything that is green. It was a really fun night.

Ryan learned to hold Megan's bottle for her in the car which I totally love.

Ryan was walking around the house one night looking like an elf. Christian and Brittany took the camera one night and went a little crazy. They seriously took 30 pictures of themselves but I will only post the best.

Ryan fell asleep one day in the car and when I turned around I found him looking like this, totally gross but I was so glad I had my camera in the bag! Megan was helping me sweep the kitchen.One night after bath Megan just looked so funny playing the piano with her crazy hair. Ryan found a paper towel roll and was playing around with it so Christian decided to make him a mummy.

Basketball Party

We had Christian's end of the season pizza party for basketball. The kids had a really fun time and Christian got a really cool trophy. His team ended the season with 4 wins and 3 loses. Way to go Eagles! The pizza party was a week and a half ago and Megan had one tooth on the bottom. Now she has three on the bottom and two on the top. They have all just grown in at the same time.
