Weekend

Well this weekend was almost perfect. Friday was Dan's birthday so I picked up Christian and we decorated Dan's car for his Birthday at his work. Christian had so much fun with it. We filled about 15 balloons and put them in his car and then hung a Happy Birthday sign on the outside. Then we headed for the Mall. Dan wanted to go to the Lego store for his birthday ( you would like he was turning 9 not 29), so me and the boys did some shopping at the Children's place and looked at the Halloween store till Dan got off work. Then we had dinner at a Hot dog place (which is Dan's favorite food) and then went to the Lego store. He picked out a couple different sets and then we headed home. I had such a good time. Since Ryan was born we haven't gone out just us, we usually go out with my entire family or Dan just wants to stay home so it was really good.

Well then we got home and told Christian that he had a surprise in his room. So he ran upstairs and he saw the decorations he was completely blown away. Now again we only spent $5 on decorations but he loved them. All weekend long he kept saying that he wished he could get a surprise for Dan and I because he loved his decorations so much. Well then on Saturday was Christian football game and my sister's family came and then we went to lunch so that was really nice. They hung out with us for most of the day so it was nice to be with them.

Unfortunately Christian got sick and he wound up having a double ear infection, so on Sunday we didn't get to go to watch conference with some friends like we had hoped but it was nice to sit at home all day. Also Dan was in a great mood on Sunday because the Patriots won so they are now 5 and 0 and the Red Sox swept the Angels so he did a lot of gloating. Besides Christian being sick it was one of the nicest weekends we have had in a long time.
